B.TECH IN CHEMICAL ENGINEERING

CHEMICAL ENGINEERING

Chemical Engineering is about exercising Chemical principles to figure out and fix the issues concerning the production and use of chemicals and bio chemicals. It blends knowledge of Chemistry and Engineering for the production of chemicals and related by-products. Principles of physics, mathematics, chemistry and Mechanical & Electrical Engineering are applied by Chemical Engineers. Like every other engineering discipline, Chemical Engineering is based on the fundamentals of mathematics, physics and chemistry. Therefore, you must have an aptitude in these subjects in order to excel as a chemical engineer.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The student must have passed the higher secondary i.e. 10+2 with science stream having Physics, chemistry, mathematics.

SCOPE AFTER B.E. / B.TECH IN CHEMICAL ENGINEERING

You have lifted a right step for your career; feel proud if you are a Chemical Engineer. Chemical Engineer is supposed to sort out issues & complications related with the production and enhance the uses of chemicals and bio chemicals for better production growth.

WORKING FIELDS

Most Chemical Engineers work in manufacturing industries, production plants, in research & development labs or management. Other than chemical manufacturing, such as those producing energy, food, clothing, electronics, and paper Chemical engineers also work in a variety of manufacturing other industries. They can work in health care, biotechnology, and business services as well. Some may specialize in a particular chemical process such as oxidation or polymerization. Others may specialize in a particular field, such as nonmaterial or in the development of specific products.
