Governmental firms like ONGC recruits the candidates for the job profile of Graduate Engineer Trainee with a basic pay of Rs. 24900 per month. For Grade ‘B’ Engineers Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) offers salary packages between the limits of Rs.29100 – 54500 per month. Oil India Limited recruits candidates in to the job profile of Executive Trainee with a starting level salary of Rs. 25,000 per month. However, most of the other firms offer salary packages within the range of Rs 25K and Rs 30K per month for fresh graduates in petroleum engineering.
